Unfortunately we operate a no refunds policy but if we have 48 hours notice, subject to management discretion, we can reschedule your booking within the next 6 months.  Please email hello@esl.arch-dev.co.uk to arrange this.

A confirmation email is sent out automatically to every online booking. If you haven’t received this, please check your junk folder and that the email address you gave us is correct. Alternatively, send us an email to hello@esl.arch-dev.co.uk with the time, date and the name of the booking and we will reissue the confirmation.

If you booked online, you must be in possession of the payment card and the confirmation email that you received. Without both, you will not be permitted to bowl.

Children are very welcome but must be off the premises by 7pm (due to a condition on our Premises License). Please bear in mind that you are responsible for the behaviour of your younger guests.

We have a step at our front door but have an access ramp at reception to assist entry. There is a fixed disabled ramp up to the lanes, low access to one side of the bar and an accessible toilet on ground level

East Street Lanes has a fully-stocked bar serving draught, canned and bottled beers, cocktails, mocktails, milkshakes, soft and hot drinks.

We are located next door to a large NCP carpark on East Street. Accessible 24-hrs daily Monday-Sunday cashless payment via NCP App or on exit at ticket machines.

Booking in advance isn’t absolutely necessary as we welcome walk-in customers throughout the week. However, we do recommended you book for a Friday and Saturday as we are usually very busy.

We allot 10 minutes per player per game, so 2 bowlers will have a 20 minute slot, 6 bowlers a 60 minute slot, etc. This is slightly longer than the average time it takes to play and allows us a few minutes to prepare the lane for the party following you.

You can email us at hello@esl.arch-dev.co.uk with your requirements. Please include date and time requested, numbers of bowlers and games, a contact number, and any additional requirements, ie. food and drinks.

Send the information to hello@esl.arch-dev.co.uk quoting the booking name, date and a contact telephone number. We will then add your extra guests and call you to take a card payment. Guests not paid for will not be shown on the reservation.

We are a family venue so all we ask is that you dress appropriately and remove any caps, visors, hoods or helmets so we can see your wonderful smiles.

A maximum of 6.

As a considerable proportion of our visitors are celebrating, we ask that you arrange to do this yourselves. Please do not place any decorations beyond the white line for reasons of safety.

Flat-soled and closed-toe shoes are perfectly fine although this is at the discretion of the duty manager.

We have 6lb (XS) balls available to small children. We also have ball ramps and can raise the barriers to assist little ones bowl

We welcome bowlers of all ages as long as they are strong and fit enough to safely enjoy time on the lanes.

Students, teachers, NHS, emergency services and Armed Forces pay £5 per game from Sun 11am – Friday 11pm. During that same period, the price of 2 games is reduced from £18 to £15

I’m afraid not. All bookings must be paid for in full at the point of reservation.

We have a licensing condition which states that anybody under the age of 18 must be off the premises by 7pm. There are no exceptions to this condition and must be adhered to whether you have finished bowling or not.
